MLA Speed Mentoring
MLA Speed Mentoring will connect graduate student members with accomplished academics from a variety of disciplines and institutions.
Long-standing MLA members will share what they've learned from mentoring graduate students, assisting with departmental hiring, and serving on tenure review committees. Graduate students will be matched with mentors for brief conversations about career advancement and mentorship opportunities.
Speed Mentoring will be followed by a reception where members can continue conversations over light refreshments.
